Hotel Cenobio Dei Dogi

Hotel Cenobio Dei Dogi

Hotel Cenobio Dei Dogi

is a luxury hotel in Camogli, overlooking the beautiful bay of Camogli and the magnificent Gulf of Genoa, and set in a large garden.

Camogli is a charming coastal village along the coast that leads to Portofino.

Cenobio dei Dogi Hotel has a long history, begun in 1565 when an aristocratic family of Genoese Dogi built a villa on a rock at the foot of the Mount of Portofino, which is now a Natural Park. As many visitors to the villa were cardinals and priests, a beautiful little chapel was built, still existing today. The noble family of Emilio De Ferrari later converted the estate first into a park and then, in 1956, into today’s luxurious, exquisite Hotel Cenobio dei Dogi.

The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool and a free private beach.

Other hotel facilities include bar, restaurant with vast sea views, meeting facilities, lounge, terrace overlooking the sea, and more services.

Rooms and suite are spacious and have air conditioning, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, free Wi-Fi, en-suite bathroom with luxury toiletries and hairdryer, VIP room facilities, and other amenities.

Many rooms and suites, which you can choose when you book, have enchanting sea views.

The hotel has free private parking on site.

A very typical review from a guest:

“I’ve stayed in 4 and 5 star hotels throughout Australasia, Asia, North America and the UK over the years, but rarely have I encountered the grace, elegance and charm of the Cenobio dei Dogi. One night was not enough. Next time I’ll stay for a week. You can feel the history in the walls. The surroundings, and views are breathtaking, the staff courteous and friendly, the overall atmosphere peaceful and calming. And the food and service in the restaurant was one of the cullinary highlights of all my travels. I adore this hotel. Class and style, for all the right reasons. I videotaped the hotel, grounds, views etc and have shown it to many friends and family since my return, so expect an influx of Melburnians over the next couple of years! My stay in Camogli was a highlight of a wonderful trip through a wonderful country.”

Prices, including breakfast, start at 150 Euros
