The Rooms
The flat is in one of Viareggio’s best locations, the very central Piazza D’Azeglio, the heart of Viareggio.
Very big (100 square metres), it comprises:
- 1 double bedroom
- 2 single bedrooms
- state-of-the-art bathroom, with bathtub and shower cabin, both of them with hydromassage whirlpool
- fully-equipped kitchen

- long balcony at the front overlooking leafy and delightful garden square Piazza D’Azeglio.
After you cross the square you’ll be on the beautiful seafront promenade of Viareggio, with the extensive beach of warm, soft sand on the other side: the walk from the flat to the beach will take you 5 minutes.
The Accommodation
The apartment, which is on the second floor of a small building, has just been totally refurbished, and fittings, facilities and decoration are new.
The flat’s enviable location is such that, after midday, you can even subathe from the comfort of your bed, not to mention from the long front balcony.
Stylish, airy, sunny, full of light, with a lovely view, the flat has all floors in marble, antique furniture, beautiful paintings.
The kitchen is not a kitchenette but a separate room, with cooker, oven, refrigerator, dish-washer, washer-dryer and complete with utensils and crockery. A nice touch: the electric kettle (not normally found in Italian houses).
Next to it is the dining room with large flat-screen TV.
From the kitchen you walk out onto a small balcony with washstand, overlooking an inner garden and court.
The windows are fitted with mosquito nets.
The apartment is looked after by Valerio, friend, owner of a building firm and handyman, whose office and shop is in the street on the ground floor of the same building and will be at hand for every need you may have.
The Location and Neighbourhood
The apartment’s is one of the very best locations in Viareggio, for being not only very close to the beach but also in the centre of the town – Viareggio’s beach and seafront are extremely long and most properties which are near the sea are far from the city centre.
The flat is close to the shopping and services hub of Viareggio, with just around the corner from it the Via Garibaldi, Viareggio’s high street, home to all banks in Viareggio and many shops of all kinds. It’s close to the town’s big main street market, post office, pharmacies and all sorts of services.
You’ll be right in the middle of things, close to useful places, beautiful places and fun places.
In the same square where the apartment is located, Piazza D’Azeglio, is the station for buses and coaches to Tuscany’s major cities of art, including Florence, Pisa and Lucca, the last two being just half an hour’s drive from Viareggio while Florence is an hour’s drive.
Last but not least, Giardini del Mare Apartment is 3 minutes’ walk from Viareggio’s port, pier and the huge yacht harbour, where many leisure boats are kept. Viareggio is an internationally-renowned centre for yacht building. Here In Viareggio the world’s rich and famous have their gigantic yachts built.
From the pier along the canal-harbour tourist boats to the nearby stupendous Cinque Terre, stunning Bay of Poets with Lerici and Portovenere, and Portofino leave regularly.
You can park in front of the building and in surrounding streets.
